Panache Lingerie Limited implements the VisionPLM solution for extra support
Coats Digital’s VisionPLM solution will minimise delays and improve efficiency for the award winning UK based company.
As a global lingerie specialist with brands such as Panache Swimwear, Cleo by Panache and Masquerade Lingerie, the company provides innovative designs majoring on cup sizes D to KK.
With offices in New York, Germany and Hong Kong, Panache products are constantly improved and developed to make sure that they are leaders with fit and quality as well as sourcing and production.
With increasing demand for their brands, plus the usual market pressures of quality, cost and margin to balance, improving visbility and control from design to delivery became a necessity. VisionPLM will enable Panache to improve range plan and margin analysis as well as working closely with suppliers to minimise delays and increase operational efficiency.
The VisionPLM solution for Panache will include Range Planning (Storyboard), Product Costings, Bills of Material, Remote Supplier Updates, Critical Path Management and the report writer.
Audrey Harris, Head of Technical at Panache Lingerie commented “We welcome the new VisionPLM system, with its user friendly set up which is uniquely tailored to meet the needs of the Panache business model. Used by other well established businesses akin to our trade, we welcome what it can do for us.
“To have a system which both supports the existing processes that work and brings new ideas along with a more focused way of working is a refreshing approach. The true barometer for us is the high user buy in and positive feedback we have already received.”
Stuart Knipe, IT Manager at Panache Lingerie added “Our initial requirement was to find a highly flexible Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool to give us full visibility of our garment critical paths including rigorous product testing processes. On meeting Fast React (now named Coats Digital), we found that the VisionPLM solution has a lot to offer in terms of Product Costing, Range Planning, a clearer picture of our critical paths and a flexible reporting system that allows us to interrogate data. We anticipate tangible benefits including reducing our time to market, increasing efficiency and a clearer communication channel to our factories.
“We look forward to the project because it’s evident that the team listen to their customers and strive to deliver cost effective solutions, with a strong focus on long term relationships.”
Andy Hinton, former Customer Services Director at Fast React (now called Coats Digital), commented “Panache are known as leaders in their market and for them to continue to maintain their reputation for quality and service whilst balancing the demands of business growth, they sought a system that could help them to manage the entire process from design through to delivery. Fast React provide’s a solution that gives them the required level of management visibility, plus a powerful return on investment within a year.”
