Functional overview

VisionPLM supports the entire product lifecycle, allowing target numbers of styles and options, price points and target margins to be created within the Range Plan and subsequently managed within solution. VisionPLM provides a central point of storage and reference for mood boards and design inspiration, enabling global design teams to stay aligned. The seasonal timeline is supported by market leading critical path functionality, to maximise successful on time product launch.

The newly enhanced Adobe Illustrator (Ai) extension helps designers to manage everything from image association, BOM creation, colour pallet management, spec creation and sample requests directly within Ai, with that data then immediately created in the VisionPLM solution. This means that VisionPLM is easily adopted as an integral part of the design process, without designers having to leave the design tool, thereby providing real ‘connectivity’ from the very beginning.

From requesting the very first prototype sample, through to range selection, VisionPLM manages the entire development process through its Sample Management and Tech Pack modules. These include raising and issuing of sample requests across multiple factories/suppliers, sample tracking and stock management, to ensure that samples are in the right place at the right time to maximise sales opportunities.

The creation and management of technical specs within VisionPLM includes size charts and grading, BOMs, fits and seals, wash care, labelling and more, that is everything you need in single solution to take the product from concept to reality.

Achieving an effective sourcing model can be a real challenge, with good costing representing a vital element of this process. The flexible Costing module within the VisionPLM solution allows you to successfully explore numerous ‘what if’ possibilities, before ‘rolling up’ these options, in order to make those all-important supply decisions.
